Dear Valued ISAA Member,
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the postponement of this year’s ISAA Symposium (due to take place 19-24 July). We are working on the identification of a new date but for now, the ISAA Symposium will not take place during the summer of 2020.
Please know that our plans as of right now are to move the Symposium to the Spring of 2021, with additional details to follow.
We know that this will come as an enormous disappointment, not only to the sponsors, and industry professionals who were due to attend the show, but also to the global agrochemical community.
Our primary concern is always the responsibility we feel towards our community, our sponsors, members and partners, and all others who support this industry. Whilst only a short time ago we felt optimistic that July was far enough away to confidently proceed with our plans, as it stands today [19 March] we cannot guarantee the delivery of an event that delivers safety, value and camaraderie for all attendees.
In an ideal world we would wait and see and hope to meet in July. But we are within an ever-changing environment and, in all good conscience, cannot ask our colleagues, friends and peers to jeopardize their health and safety at this time. As we move forward, we are also adjusting a few deadlines to ensure all attendees are able to participate in a way that
make sense for them.
We will extend the abstract deadline through the summer of 2020. A specific date will be announced shortly.
Symposium registration will remain open. If you have already registered, we will carry your registration over to the new date or you may request a refund. Please note that refunds may take longer than usual to process.
We are working with the hotels to determine the best course of action. Please stay tuned for further update
